The fact of the matter is that almost everyone is eating too many carbohydrates. Convenience foods, which just happen to be over-processed high carbohydrate dead (no nutritional value) products are slowly killing off Americans. These products that we consume are truly foreign substances to are bodies… We don’t recognize them as actual food! Science shows that are bodies genetically have changed 0.02% from our cave man and cave woman ancestors… If the food that we have available now would’ve been available 50,000 yrs ago our human race quite frankly would not exist today.
Your tolerance to Carbohydrates is directly correlated to how close you’re ancestry lived to the equator… For example, if you’re family originated from Europe where the ground was frozen for periods through out the year you can be sure that the majority of the food consumed was animal product. It would be really hard to eat vegetation while there was snow on the ground… So if you are blond, blue eyed or your family came from Europe your tolerance for Carbohydrate isn’t very good. On the other side of things if you’re family originated from Jamaica, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Columbia etc… You can be sure that your tolerance for Carbohydrate based foods would be pretty good simply because you’re family was exposed to roots, fibrous vegetables and fruits almost all year long due to the warmer climate.
Lets get something straight though… Just because your family descended from Columbia doesn’t give you permission to eat pasta and Little Debbies! No one, I mean no one is tolerant to these fake foods. As a matter of fact, a good rule of thumb that works for anyone no matter where your from is Carbohydrates are EXERCISE DEPENDENT… If you haven’t done something ( weight training or Sprint work) to deserve Carbs than you have no business eating them! Carbohydrates are not essential to human survival… You can’t survive without Protein or Fat! These are essential nutrients to the development and survival of our race. So when you go hear the whole Low-Fat, Low Cholesterol bullshit, just remember how we got to where are (eating high fat animal products that contain Cholesterol)… Then think about where were headed (Fertility clinics are going up everywhere and most men can’t even get there dicks up!) Why? We are eating and living the complete opposite of how were supposed to eat and live…
So, shop the perimeter of your grocery store, eat protein at every meal, eat a vegetable at all major meals, consume smart fats such as butter, ghee, coconut oil, cod liver oil/fish oil everyday, drink only non-calorie containing drinks such as water, green tea and coffee, think good thoughts, sleep 8-10 hrs a day, practice stress management and of course move (exercise) a minimum of 5 hrs a week. If you can practice the above consistently you will not only be leaner but you will have more energy, lessen your risks for ALL degenerative disease and have good SEX! Can’t beat that!

Spot reduction is a myth, right? Sure, there are endless articles in fitness magazines about how to target and tone specific muscles, but no personal trainer worth his certification will promise he can help you take off fat from specific areas. Reduce your body fat by three percent, no problem. But get rid of that annoying cellulite on the back of your thighs or that little pouch on your lower belly – and nothing else – well, that’s just not possible. Or is it?
The promise of spot reduction is an obsession that many in our culture just won’t abandon. How many pills, creams and celebrity-endorsed gadgets have people tried that were supposed to help you develop ripped abs or slender thighs? And even though those tight corsets of the Victorian era that caused women to pass out due to lack of oxygen are a long-dead fashion trend, today there are special pants and girdles that give the illusion that the troublesome fat is gone. Trainers constantly warn their clients to stay clear from such nonsense. However, the advancements in exercise endocrinology may give personal trainers new tools for combating site specific fat storage. The system is called Biosignature Modulation.
Biosignature Modulation is a scientific approach to spot reduction I developed from over 20 years of performing blood, urine and saliva tests while working with world record holders, professional athletes in all the major sports and Olympic medalists in 16 different events. My entire professional life has been devoted to finding ways to improve athletic performance among the elite, and along the way, I have found innovative and amazingly effective ways to help the non-athletic population in the area of fat loss.
Based on my testing, (more…)

After the age of 12, there is approximately only a 10% potential for increasing Agility and Coordination, but a 300-500% potential for Increasing Strength (I know which job I would apply for!) (Poliquin, 2003)
Drinking 1 can of Soda per day increases your chances of Diabetes by 85%!!! Obesity is a side effect of Soda consumption as well. (USA Today, June 8, 2004) More than 15 billion gallons of Soda were sold in 2000, which works out to be at least 1 Soda for every man, women and child in the U.S. per day. (Mercola, 2005)
Ireland and Wales boast the most omega-3 deficient citizens, and also the highest rates of alcoholism and depression. (Charles Poliquin, 2005)
Removing flour and juice from a child’s diet cures ear infections 92% of the time. (Dr. Eric Serrano, Dec. 2005)
The US government spends 14 million dollars a minute on health care, yet Americans rank between 11th place and 37th in various health categories. Spending more money isn’t the answer. (Paul Chek, Dec. 2005)
A double-blind placebo study by the Cambridge Heart Antioxidant study in England, concluded that taking 400-800 IU of vitamin E daily resulted in a 75% decreased risk of heart attack, compared to the placebo. This is because vitamin E protects the oxidation of unsaturated fats and LDL cholesterol (prevents atheroslerosis), has a blood thinning effect, discourages the formation of blood clots, and relaxes the arterial walls.
Heart attacks are much more likely to occur following a high carbohydrate meal than a high fat meal. This is because the high carbohydrate meal raises blood sugar quickly, thus spiking insulin and leptin, which in turn triggers a stress response. The stress response causes arterial spasm, constriction of the arteries, and arrhythmia (irregular heartbeat).
